Replacement Cleanings Pads

Replace the Cleaning Pads

Simply replace the cleaning pads instead of buying a new Peeps® unit.

Objective

Materials

• Two sets of cleaning pads are provided inside a sealable white plastic box.

• The cleaning pads are made of soft microfiber and coated with a proprietary carbon nano-particle compound that absorbs fingerprint oils.

Method

• Follow the Full Cleaning Tutorial video below.

• Gently twist the old Cleaning Pad a ¼ turn and pull it off the Arm joint. 

• Gently place the new Cleaning Pad onto the Arm joint and twist a ¼ turn into the locked position.

• The Cleaning Pads are always protected from contamination. 

• Two sets of Replacement Cleaning Pads offer up to 1,000 additional cleaning applications.

Lens Surface Protection

  • The greatest danger to your glasses is to scratch the lens surface.

  • No eyeglasses are 100% scratch-proof.

  • A scratch-resistant coating provides some protection when applied to both sides of the lens.

Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating

  • Anti-reflective (AR) coating is applied to both the front and back surfaces of eyeglass lenses.

  • This coating reduces glare and surface reflections, improving light transmission and visual clarity.

Cleaning Method Matters

  • Cleaning lenses with cloths, tissues, wipes, or shirt sleeves will quickly damage the AR coating.

  • 25% of the coating may be lost within 2-3 weeks of improper cleaning, and AR coating cannot be repaired or replaced.

STEP ONE

Use the Brush to Remove Dust

Protect the AR coating by first removing dust and potentially abrasive particles from the lens surface.

Objective

• The brush is made of soft, natural goat-hair bristles
• The brush uses a plastic slider to move in and out

Materials

• Slide the brush out and gently remove any dust or particles.
• Slide the brush back into its original position.

Method

• Will not damage the AR coating.
• The brush’s retractable slider makes it convenient to open and close while maintaining a compact size.
• The brush is protected from contamination.

Method

•The shape of the cleaning pads is designed to fit into hard-to-reach corners of the lenses

• This proprietary carbon nano-particle compound safely removes oils from the lens surface.

Materials

Gently slide the arms out along the track and place the lens between the cleaning pads.
Gently squeeze the arms, so the cleaning pads touch the surface of the lens.

• Clean the lens using gentle circular motions.
• In very dry environments, lightly breathe on the lens surface.
• When finished, gently slide the arms back into the track to close the PEEPS®.

Remove fingerprint oils from the lens surface safely and effectively.

Recharge the Cleaning Pads

Automatically prepare the cleaning pads for repeated applications.

Materials

• A foam pad is located inside the cap.
• The foam pad is coated with the same proprietary carbon nano-particle compound used on the cleaning pads.

• Sliding the arms in and out of the cap causes the cleaning pads to rub against the surface of the foam pad, automatically recharging them for the next use.

Method

• The cleaning pads automatically recharge for up to 500 applications.
• The foam pad remains protected from contamination.
• There is no expiry date because there are no liquids to dry out.
• The cleaning pads are replaceable.
